Empowered To Restore exists to provide a beacon of hope and restoration

ETR- Empowered To Restore Ministries, Intl, LLC is a non-profit organization that is making tremendous impact across the globe. Founded by Pastor Trecie and Sid Bolton, Empowered To Restore Ministries primary focus is to bring hope to the hopeless by providing quality education and healthcare to impoverished communities across the globe. Empowered To Restore was established with the idea of working with existing ministries, creating a network of Pastors working together to improve overall conditions in their communities. Based out of Des Moines, IA, ETR has established partnerships with churches, schools and ministries in several nations including Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Uganda, Tanzania, Congo, South Africa, Pakistan, India and the Philippines.

Education is a critical part of transforming the lives of the people ETR serves. We’ve discovered that many of the children are lacking in fundamentals – English and Math. On our journey it became evident that many of the children did not make it to junior high much less graduate from high school as the families could not afford the schools tuition ($15.00/month), so we at ETR built our first school in Paynesville, Liberia in 2018 and established a Scholarship Fund for over 30 students.

Healthcare is another critical component of transforming the lives of the people in impoverished communities. ETR is embarking on plans to build our first Medical Hospital in Liberia in 2024. Currently, many Liberian’s who can, leave the country for medical care. Those without the means to leave receive substandard care or none at all. The ETR hospital will provide not only essential care but preventative care as well as training for doctors, nurses and medical staff.

Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the plans I have for you saith the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm, plans to give you hope and a future.
